Sri Lankan educator, keynote speaker, and Presidential and State Award recipient Ms. Bernadine Jayasinghe has been honoured with the prestigious Inspirational Educator Award, presented at the House of Lords, UK Parliament, London, United Kingdom, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to education, leadership, training, and skills development.
The award recognises her commitment to empowering individuals through transformative learning, developing future-ready human skills, and helping bridge the gap between Generation Z, Generation Alpha, and the evolving needs of the corporate world.
Ms. Jayasinghe is the Founder and Managing Director of the Institute of Essential Studies (IES) and the Founder of EvolvingSkills.org. For more than 15 years, she has dedicated her career to equipping individuals with the essential skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Her work has reached universities, schools, corporations, government institutions, professional bodies, and international conferences across numerous countries.
Having trained, coached, and inspired more than 100,000 individuals, Ms. Jayasinghe is recognised for delivering practical, engaging, and transformational learning experiences in communication, leadership, emotional intelligence, executive presence, employability, professional etiquette, and lifelong learning. Her mission is to help individuals discover their potential, build confidence, and create meaningful impact in their personal and professional lives.
A respected educator, Trainer and former television personality, Ms. Jayasinghe has received numerous national and international recognitions for her contributions to education, youth development, women’s empowerment, leadership, and professional skills development. She holds two master’s degrees together with several internationally recognised professional qualifications, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and excellence.
The ceremony brought together distinguished guests from more than 23 countries, including entrepreneurs, educators, diplomats, and other international leaders, celebrating excellence and outstanding contributions across a wide range of fields.
