Home Lands Group officially broke ground today for its flagship development, Central Park Boulevard, at Port City Colombo, marking the commencement of one of the country’s most anticipated real estate projects.
The groundbreaking ceremony began this morning with multi-religious blessings, symbolizing a prosperous and successful beginning for the development. The event brought together company representatives, invited guests, and stakeholders to commemorate the start of construction.
The official ceremonial celebrations are scheduled to continue later today, highlighting the significance of the project as a major addition to Port City Colombo’s growing urban landscape.
According to Home Lands, Central Park Boulevard is designed to offer a premium lifestyle experience overlooking what is described as South Asia’s largest modern urban park. The development will be surrounded by approximately 40 acres of landscaped green parkland, featuring beautifully designed gardens, scenic waterways, walking paths, and recreational spaces.
The project forms part of the broader vision for Port City Colombo, which aims to establish a world-class financial and lifestyle destination in the Indian Ocean region.
Once completed, Central Park Boulevard is expected to provide residents with modern urban living while offering direct access to extensive green spaces, creating a unique blend of city life and nature.
