COLOMBO – FINTREX Finance PLC has appointed Attorney-at-Law Nirodha S. Kalansooriya as a Director, further strengthening the company’s corporate governance and strategic leadership.
Kalansooriya brings extensive expertise in banking, corporate and civil law, having held senior legal positions at leading financial institutions, including Sampath Bank PLC and Nations Trust Bank PLC. She has also served as Head of Legal at Associated Motorways Ltd. and AMW Capital Leasing and Finance PLC.
She holds Bachelor’s and Master of Laws degrees, a Master of Laws in Business Law from the University of Staffordshire, UK. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Colombo.
FINTREX Finance PLC said her appointment will enhance the Board’s governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic oversight while supporting the company’s long-term growth.
