COLOMBO – Colombo Dockyard PLC has successfully completed the unit assembly of Yard No. 0263, a Cable Laying & Repair Vessel being constructed for Orange Marine of France.
The milestone was achieved at Dock No. 2 on 8 July 2026 in the presence of representatives from Orange Marine, Bureau Veritas, and Colombo Dockyard’s senior management led by Managing Director and CEO Thimira Godakumbura.
The successful assembly marks another significant step in the vessel’s construction, highlighting Colombo Dockyard’s expertise in delivering complex, internationally recognised shipbuilding projects.
